Which case should you use?
Headlines and titles
Use Title Case for article and book titles. It keeps short words like “of”, “and” and “the” in lower case unless they start or end the title.
Everyday writing
Sentence case is easiest to read in emails, buttons and interface text. Pasted ALL CAPS text is fixed in one click.
Variables and files
snake_case suits Python and databases, camelCase suits JavaScript, PascalCase suits class names and kebab-case suits CSS and URLs.
Constants and headers
CONSTANT_CASE marks fixed values in code, and Train-Case matches HTTP headers such as Content-Type.
Questions people ask
What is the difference between Sentence case and Title Case?
Sentence case capitalises only the first word of each sentence and proper pronouns like “I”. Title Case capitalises the main words of a title and leaves small words such as “a”, “of” and “the” in lower case, except at the start or end.
Does the converter work with accented and non-English letters?
Yes. Upper, lower, sentence, capitalised and title case all handle accents and non-Latin alphabets such as Greek and Cyrillic. The code-style formats (snake_case, camelCase and so on) keep letters and digits from any language.
Can I undo a conversion?
Yes. Undo steps back through up to 100 changes, Redo moves forward again, and Original jumps back to the text you first typed or pasted.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Every conversion runs in your browser, so your text is never uploaded, logged or stored.
Why does camelCase turn “don't” into “dont”?
Code identifiers cannot contain apostrophes, so they are dropped and the letters are joined. Everything else keeps the original punctuation.
Are there keyboard shortcuts?
Alt+Z undoes, Alt+Shift+Z redoes, Alt+R restores the original text, Alt+S saves a .txt file and Alt+Backspace clears the editor.
